I don't have it myself but my friend does and she said it hurts going through but only for a second and then it is sore for a long time. She said it was tender to touch for about the first month. She also said that piercing the side closest to the head hurt more than the side farthest away. On a scale of 1-10, about a 6 or 7, just because it is sore for a long time.

She payed $25 for it because where she got it done at, charges only $25 for the piercing and jewelry of any piercing you want. It is a great deal but she didn't go to a chain store. There is only one of that place. Some piercers will charge up to $50. If it is more than that, they may be ripping you off.

    Good Luck!

I had my industrial done 2x in my left ear. It's a painful piercing but it is tolerable. It's really hard to heal because it's 2 cartilage piercings and they are sharing a single piece of jewlery. I would rate it about an 8 and mine were 40 but price depends on your state. You HAVE to take good care of it or it will easily get infeceted and cartilage infections can cause ear deformity! Hope this helps!

It hurts pretty bad, since it's a slow process. But you get used to it quickly, it takes about a year to totally heal. Make sure you don't go to a cheap side street place and actually go to a tattoo or piercing shop. That way they won't rip you off.

I paid $32 for mine. It hurt but bot bad enough where I wouldn't do it again. I'm getting my other side done after basketball season. I don't have a high pain tolerance either.
