Is it possible that men fear me because they see the female within themselves through me or most women?

it is a possibility. i think another question along the same lines would be do you or other women fear not being women, or fear being a man. same thing goes for men, do they fear not being men, or being women. when it comes down to it, there is no such thing as gender, no male, no female, just consciousness. yet most people define them self by their gender to the point of self destruction when something seems a little off. though not me, i'll admit it, i've seen devil wears prada at least ten times as well as she's out of my league at least ten times. mind you, i don't want to be a female but i would really enjoy life without certain aspects of being male, such as the every so fragile genitalia. getting hit it the tenders is not exactly a joy ride. then there is the constant "blood flow". i wouldn't want to roll over in my sleep onto my boobs if i had them but when you roll over on your "manhood" it is just not fair. it's enough to bring a tear to your eye. yet all in all, it end up being irrelevant, whether i am man, woman, or something in between, the only thing i actually care about is my mind, my consciousness. imagine what its like to be a man, imagine what it would be like to be no gender, imagine being god...

Men and women alike are often afraid of each other, but never on the whole. Specifics attributes make for different fears. IE: Most men desire the respect of a woman, but if the woman is more respectable (has her philosophical duck in a row..so to speak) the man will find his respectability sorely lacking in comparison. This will cause serious social rifts between them that the man would not be able to honestly defend. If he wishes to respect himself without growing, he has to fight a loosing battle, and he knows it.

In reality, close relationships rely on love and trust that few people are really ready to live up to. Trough our imperfections we betray each other in countless ways every day. If we cannot rely on the love to forgive and understand while we grow, or rely on the honesty of each other to deal justly with each other and especially with ourselves, we would never have deep relationships.

Certainly Strong women can be a concern... If the man cannot play fair.

My wife is an exceptionally strong woman in quite a variety of ways. She is a constant asset to me and my growth. Likewise where I am strong for her. The "fragile ego" of man is unfortunately the result of male social patterning that requires the man to always be the strong component of a relationship. Young men find they cannot meet this ridiculous requirement and find themselves feeling inadequate. Women do no service to men in perpetuating this absurd requirement.
