Cannot for the life of me find the 'menu' option on my LG KP500?

have got a new cellphone and already i despise it with every fiber of my human being. this is an embarising, utterly dumb question and i feel like an absolute idiot for asking, but i would like to sync some songs to my phone and have been unable to, because i cannot find the 'menu' option on the launcher screen from which i am supposed to switch the phone to sync mode when it is plugged into my computer.

instructions in the help section read as follows:

1. Select menu -> Setting -> Connectivity -> USB connection mode -> Music sync.

2. Connect PC to phone by using the provided cable.

3. When icon appears on tray, connection to phone is completed.

which is all well and good. if i could FIND THE GODDAMNED MENU!!!!! of course, in the help section not a word is said about locating this elusive, somewhat necessary option, as i dont doubt most phone users are more competent than I, and my instruction manual that came with the phone is in Swedish.

i will be honest, i wanted a sanyo 3100, but apparently they dont make those anymore. -.-

in anycase, help would be much appreciated. ten points to whomever helps me locate the damn thing first. thanks in advance.
