Any one else tried these Nike Golf balls out?

I got a dozen of them today, no lie they added about 60 yards to my drives. And seemed to get higher ball flight with them as well. Normally I hate Nike balls and never even think of buying them; even though all of my clubs are Nike. Something said to me give them a try, best $15 balls I ever bought. I got better distance from them than the ProV1's I had in my bag. Guess I'm just happy I finally found a Nike Ball I like. Thats my opinion anyhow.

These balls are called PD Softs because the core of the golf ball is softer. When the core is softer, the ball will compress easier at lower swing speeds. This can help greatly with people with slow swing speeds but around the green there is no contest between these and the pro v1. The pro v1 will check up on the greens much better than these.

It's a distance ball and if you hit the ball well, you'll hit it far if that's what you're looking for. Those balls suck around the greens. I'm more concerned with my short game and the Nike One Tour D is long enough off the tee that I'm not concerned with distance. I want something that grabs and stops. You won't get that with the Nike ball you use. It's not made to do it.

Just for grins I went to a PGA store and was ball fitted. This was one of the balls that was recommended for me. Love them and love the price even more. I don't play enough to pay for ProV1's.

They're old......for lower swing speeds too. The One Vapor Speed is a much better ball than that, although I'm a ProV1x fan
