Ok so all my life I wanted to learn to play guitar. I'm in my late 30's ( so I know I'll never be a lead player in some rock band) but I would like to be able to play some of the riffs of my favorite songs.

Anyway I just purchased a Epiphone LP 100, and also ordered me a copy of RockSmith for my xbox. But before Rocksmith comes in the mail I decided to try and play some tabs I found online. First problem I have found is I can't pick out the correct fret on the neck, to put it another way I'm always counting the frets.

Here's my question would it be ok to take a lable maker and number the frets or would that be a bad way to learn? In other words would it be developing a bad habit?

I know nothing about playing guitar I have had one for many years but never took the time to learn. My question is I want to learn to play like Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler. My guitar has 1 11/16 nut width. Should I even try to learn fingerstyle on it? Or should I get a more classical with 1 3/4 nut width and not waste my time.

Found a dealer that has a truck that I want. The advertised price is 27,000. Now the truck does blue book for a little more. But highball for trade in is only 25,000. I simply can't justify paying more for a truck than I can get out of it right off the go. What do you guys think would be a good offer, that they would take?

Ok the following code works fine on .exe files.

If CheckBox10.Checked = "true" Then Process.Start("****\*****.exe")

But I have now changed some of the install packages into .MSI files. And the the Process.Start statement will not work on them. What is the correct statment to launch these .msi files?

Ok so I have a VB Application that I wrote to install programs from a USB stick. It is made up of checkboxs and a single button that polls all the checkboxs states when I want to install a specific program.

Problem is I check the boxs that I want to install and click the button and all the programs try to start at once. Is there a code that I can put between each checkbox state to make the next one wait until the previous is completed. Here is an example of button my code now.

If CheckBox10.Checked = "true" Then Process.Start("****\*****.exe")

If CheckBox11.Checked = "true" Then Process.Start("****\****.exe")

Ok so I want to move all my files on to a USB stick and run the Install App from the stick. Now when I coded the app I had all my files on my C: Drive so I coded like this.

= "true" Then Process.Start("C:\*****\******.exe")

But now that all of my files are on a USB stick drive G: the application can't find the files. Is there a code that will let the App find these files no matter what the drive letter is?

shell ("g:\folder\**.exe")

But when I run the test it says file not found? Is this not the correct code?

I'm looking for healthy idea's to change my eating habits. I live in the country and have mainly been a meat eater all my life. I used to joke that I only eat food that used to walk around on four legs and said moo. But I'm almost 39 years old now, and I know eating red meat is catching up with me and I want to be around for awhile longer.

My problem is I really don't know what is good to eat and need some idea's. I'm open to trying most anything now days, just as long as it doesn't involve sea food.

What is your favorite Radio Station for hip hop?

My wife is afraid she will lose her instrument or she will always forget it and we will have to take it to her. I'm thinking the school is only 2 miles away from our home. I'm thinking this may be what she needs to learn some responsibility? My only thing is she doesn't know how to play any instrument. do they teach you in band or should you already know how to play?

She has to go to a meeting on wednesday if she wants to be in the band. Something about fitting her for her instrument? I don't know much about the band because I never did any of this in school.

I got a dozen of them today, no lie they added about 60 yards to my drives. And seemed to get higher ball flight with them as well. Normally I hate Nike balls and never even think of buying them; even though all of my clubs are Nike. Something said to me give them a try, best $15 balls I ever bought. I got better distance from them than the ProV1's I had in my bag. Guess I'm just happy I finally found a Nike Ball I like. Thats my opinion anyhow.

About 5 years ago I developed a heart condition where my heart would just start racing. I had to be shocked back into normal rhythm many time in the ER. After 3 years they finally fixed my problem with a cardiac ablation. They told me there was only a 5% chance that it would return. It took about a year but I don't worry about that anymore.

But now every time anything feels strange I worry. If i get a headache I think it's a tumor. If I have diarrhea I think it's colon cancer. If my legs hurt I think I have a blockage in them. If I get dizzy I think it's my heart. Now I know my heart is fine because when they where trying to diagnose my heart condition they ran every test on my heart they could and found nothing structurally wrong. And I never felt these things before my heart messed up.

What I want to know is how do I get back to the way I was before I was 33? When I didn't worry about these things.
