it will run most games but it wont run them well as that video card is very slow.
also no reason to build a system around the 1156 socket, go with the 1155 as it will probably be faster and cheaper. the i3s are a little slow for newer games, but the videocard is the worse thing holding you back

Should Be Able to Run Modern games,(Modern does not Mean Modern Warfare,like GTAIV,Battlefield,Black ops,Prototype.

If you want get more performance Change the i3 into a Quad core processor.........
