my wisdom teeth are causing my jaw to hurt?

My dentist told me my wisdom teeth are just starting to come through and its too soon to spot complications. My jaw hurts bad at the side and the top side hurts a lot too. I can't chew or put my teeth together at all. Anyone have any idea of what can help the pain?

Update:

I only went to the dentist a week ago and he said they were fine for now. The pain started 2 days ago roughly.

Update 2:

I only went to the dentist a week ago and he said they were fine for now. The pain started 2 days ago roughly.

Bonjela the adult gel. This will numb it. Also rinse that area with warm salty water at least 3 times a day.

If they were fine a week ago and the pain is new for the last two days then you need to touch base with your dentist again and let him have another look in case there is infection brewing.

I had to have my back top teeth removed to let my wisdom teeth come down because they were hitting off the root of my regular teeth and were very painful.

Maybe the same thing is happening with you.

Get your dentist to give you an xray to rule that out.

Take some paracetamol to help with the pain if they work all is well if not, get that xray

I recently had a root canal done. Jaw pain isn't fun.
