  • fitness routines that don't take time?

All I want to do is tone up a bit and get fitter rather than lose weight. I do not have much time in the day to exercise so the only time I can is when I go for walks with my dog, we pretty much speed walk and I jog for a little bit. How can I incorporate more exercise into my day without taking up much time? I am 18 and not overweight, just unfit (as I get out of breath quickly and don't have much energy)

  • Question about a recent tattoo?

I got my first yesterday and I followed the instructions. Today, it feels really scaly and it is really lumpy. Is it normal for it to be like that so soon? I put a thin layer of bepamthen on like I was told.

  • Opinions on what is correct?

When staying over at a friends house, if you use the bathroom of a night, should you flush or not incase it wakes people up? In my own opinion, you should as it seems kinda bad not to. I would like different peoples opinions please.

  • rough idea of tattoo pain?

I want a tattoo on my upper arm. I am not too bad with pain but I was wondering roughly how awful is it? I have a fear of needles but I love tattoos so I figure I should grin and bear it. I understand everyone has different levels of tolerance but can anyone describe their personal experience and what type of pain it was? Thanks

  • Going back to a piercers after a while?

I have had my lip piercing since June and I want to have my piercer put my lip segment ring in as it is very hard but my mum says he won't do it. I understand I might have to pay a fee but would a piercer change it for me? Thanks

  • Good make up brand for young skin?

I need to find a decent lipstick/gloss that lasts fairly long and isn't too drying and mascara that looks good. I'm 18 and live in England so I can't afford anything too expensive. Thank you!

  • How to stop being friends without causing an argument?

(this may be long and I cannot say anything outright as last year I was bullied and want to avoid conflict again)

There is a girl in my class and she sits next to me, talks to me and follows me to sit with my friends who I have known for a long time. At first, I thought she was nice and enjoyed her company. Now, she is a self righteous, nasty person. She will have a go at you if you do not agree with her, even petty things like film taste! She makes awful comments , including one about special needs people. I was joking around, saying I'm sick of cleaning animal mess and she screeched you shouldn't have an animal if you can't handle it! and I said I'm joking? I love my animals and, although I may not enjoy it, I keep them clean. I can not take her horrid comments and listen to her yelling at people for nothing. My mum said to not argue with her because she is the type to make my life hell. I asked my friends for advice and they said gradually cut her out but I can't. She follows me everywhere and when I hang out with my mates, she sits there and ignores everyone (she isn't shy and she goes in there a lot) all I can think of doing is next time she says something offensive, to say it offends me and see what happens. If I am honest, I blame myself for letting her think she can get away with this nastiness and putting up with it. Anyone got any advice? I am at the point where I WILL argue with her, not caring about the consequences.

    Thank you.

  • buying an older chinchilla?

I want to purchase a 3 year old chinchilla but my mum is convinced that baby ones are better despite no breeders being near me. I'm unsure as they can live over 15 years, 3 isn't that old. What's better to do?

  • semi permanent hair dye scare?

I bought Loreal casting crème gloss in Black cherry. I have used dyes like Directions and Stargazers in the past but not a proper dye like this. I have read all the horror stories and it makes me panic and feel nervous in case I get a reaction. You can smell it the minute you open the box and even though I haven't opened the products, I feel a bit light headed and itchy. I don't know whether I'm so paranoid I'm gonna react I feel like this or if I have had a reaction. When I have done tests in the past (the elbow one) I got minor headaches (I usually have a headache normally) and light headiness and slight itch. Am I just paranoid or is this a reaction?

  • what is wrong with the products?

I've tried using an epilator and not only was it painful but it did nothing. I've waxed at home and even at a salon and a professional couldn't remove hair. I'm pale, blonde and have fine hair. Is there some special wax i am meant to use for fine hair?

  • question about heels and platforms?

I can walk in thick heels that are about 3 inches but i rarely wear stilettos for fear of loosing balance. I would love a pair of platform boots (stated they are 2 inches at the front and 3 at the back) it doesn't sound high but they look really high. Are platforms hard to walk in?
