fitness routines that don't take time?
All I want to do is tone up a bit and get fitter rather than lose weight. I do not have much time in the day to exercise so the only time I can is when I go for walks with my dog, we pretty much speed walk and I jog for a little bit. How can I incorporate more exercise into my day without taking up much time? I am 18 and not overweight, just unfit (as I get out of breath quickly and don't have much energy)

crunches, oblique crunches, sit ups, jumping jacks, leg raises, scissors, flutter kicks, push ups, squats, lunges, dips, abdominal holds, plank, pylo scissor jumps, step ups, glute kick backs, mountain climbers, suicide jumps...
I've listed a few easy, quick things you can do. Do a set of 12 of a few different things, should be fine. :) Just make sure you are eating a good amount and healthy foods and drinking plenty of water.

I find running is about the quickest way to get fit, you don't have to drive to a gym, its free, just throw your trainers on and run out the door, obviously it doesn't do much for your torso, so I usually do a few hard sets of press ups and sit ups either along the way or when I get back home. sit ups will give u a six pack if you are trim enough, press ups will tone your arms chest and shoulders, running obviously legs, and it also the vascular look. the only other exercise I recommend is pull ups to exercise your arms, back and traps, although you may need to buy a pull up bar of ebay, or just run past a local park with some kind of monkey bars!!
I find that I can easily combine this whole workout into 30 mins door to door, I try do it at least 4 times a week, tones my whole body and is also cardio workout combined and costs nothing.
