Question about a recent tattoo?
I got my first yesterday and I followed the instructions. Today, it feels really scaly and it is really lumpy. Is it normal for it to be like that so soon? I put a thin layer of bepamthen on like I was told.

Every tattoo is different, but they all go through healing stages. How well you do your aftercare matters and makes a difference as to how your tattoo turns out after it heals.
Your job is to do excellent and current aftercare 3 - 5Xs a day for as long as it takes - a month or more = until it feels and looks like regular skin and doesn't hurt when you bump it. (not shiny or milky looking)
Here is a good video about proper aftercare:

Suspend all judgement about your tattoo while it is healing. It will look all kinds of weird during this time.

Could be an contamination, even though after a month its probably not. Some humans even have hostile reactions to the dye a few tattoo artists use. You must return to the character who gave you the tattoo, such a lot artists have loose contact u.s.a.and will reply questions you might have. You too can move on your loved ones health care provider and feature him assess it out. Antibiotics can support whether it is an contamination, and Wal-Mart and Target have such a lot generics on their $four record.
