  • I don't know what category to put this in - How do I find out who is in a stock photo?

My son is into cycling and and found this photo that looks exactly like him! Anyway, we know that one runs into doppelgangers occasionally, but that is not the point. We want to contact this person because of the coincidence in looks, but also because he seems to actually be involved in the sport. (no we don't want to bug him or stalk him) So, the question is: How do we find out how to contact the person in this picture: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-p9KUQJ8CV58/p_257MTHB... ?

Also, my son said that he'd bake me a pie if I could locate this person.

Any thoughts? (Please NO JOKE ANSWERS)

    Thank you~

  • A model in an ad looks like my son. How do I find out who it is? It is uncanny, my son found the picture.?

It's the guy on the bike looking at his phone in this ad: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-I6cYmNSE1bO/p_257MTHB... It is not from Crutchfield, but originated with JVC.

  • reposting - I goofed and need opinions and suggestions?

Please do not tell me why I should not get a tattoo or tell me stories of why you do not want one etc.

I am reposting to get answers, suggestions, and opinions not lectures:

I goofed up, and need to get it right.. suggestions?

O.K. I have been wanting to rework my 1st tattoo (a tiny Celtic Dragon from an ancient brooch, that represents my son) for quite a while. I got that for my 50th, and now wanted it completed by my 60th. I went to my artist, brought images of Magnolia flowers and a copy of my tattoo. I told him that I wanted it 'feminine, soft, pretty and realistic', and that I wanted the little dragon made to look like a brass medallion resting inside a pink Magnolia flower. I came for my appt. but he was running late, and rescheduled, I came in then, and he said that he'd discount me, and I said again that I just wanted it pretty and well done etc. I was told to go to the chair, and instead of bringing a stencil or my references, he said that he had done flowers earlier and he was all ready, and brought a different pic. of a magnolia (photo). So then he started to draw on me. I have loved his previous work, so I curbed thought 'o.k.' The drawing lines were fine, and he started working. I could not watch him, because this is on my chest and when we stopped for a break I looked in the mirror, and he had done all of this black shading - almost 'old school'! I was stunned because I had even asked about a blood line, etc. to keep it soft and delicate. He finished and the dragon looks great, the work is excellent, but it is far from what I asked for. I went back the next day and told him that I wanted to somehow soften it up, and will go back when it is healed. I told him that it was not what we had talked about etc. I think that he forgot what I had said and just did the flower like he had done for his earlier client.

So now I need to rework it, and somehow add these elements in that I wanted. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your thoughts (I appologize for the lengthiness of this)

    Additional Details

I am an optimist, and I am viewing this as a 'happy accident' and believe that it can and will turn out better than I first envisioned. I am leaning towards adding a softer row of outer petals, and then having the flower on a thin branch that goes toward my shoulder with 3 buds that are soft and pretty in varying stages of opening. I know that I have to balance the original darkness, but I thought that maybe adding pretty detail may work. I just want to have this really worked out before going back in.

  • My 85 yr old Mom drinks Brandy. I am fine with this, but I take care of her,?

and she is barely able to walk with a walker, she has no strength, I bathe her, and I'm trying to keep her out of assisted living. If she drinks too much, she doesn't eat, is very confused, and it messes with her medicine. I try to limit the amount per day, and it was better during the holidays when she drank eggnog with her Brandy. Now it's just ice. I want to water down her Brandy or find something that she might agree to drink with it, so that she can enjoy it without harming herself, and/or making the situation more difficult than it already is. She has severe arthritis and this does ease things for her, but too much is dangerous in more ways than one.

My question is how can I do this smoothly? What ratio? She drinks E&J because she used to always meet my Dad at the door with it and a kiss when he came home from work.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you~

  • How do you do this? Ideas?

I'm reposting this because the only answer that I got was a rant from Truth (Truth, please refrain from commenting this time around - thank you)

I'm adding some artwork to my upper back?

and I was wondering if anyone has any helpful tips about reaching the area to wash and apply lotion and such. My husband will help me, but I would like to find a way to get to it myself as much as possible. I now have a circle tattoo in the center upper back, and am now going to add something on each side, and above and below it, making a more complete design. The problem is that I just can't get to it easily. I was thinking of a spatula! Does anyone have other ideas?

Thank you for your help an input.

  • Help! Both my husband and I are having problems signing out of yahoo email.?

This has been going on for a good week. We have separate emails, and both of us are having difficulties. We click on 'sign out' and we go nowhere. I go back and forth between files then signing out, I try clicking it over and over, I click it once and wait and then get that diagnose the problem thing. This is happening at work and at home, and on multiple computers.

Help! this is driving us nuts!!!

    Thank you~

  • Help working out design?

I have a small Celtic dragon (design from ancient jewelry piece) - it is rather simple, kind of looks like seahorse head with the body kinda snake like that just curls around to make a circle about the size of a 50 cent piece. It was my 1st tattoo (at 50), and symbolizes my son, who's name is Celtic.

My question is: I want to put a flower with it, to make it look like the dragon is resting in the center of it. I am having a hard time coming up with the right flower, and how to do put it together, so that it will look soft, (the flower would represent me), and not have too much detail to distract from the dragon, and I want it to be very beautiful in design.

    This is over my heart.

Can you help me with suggestions on how to design this? What kind of flower? I have asked this before, and I have done searches etc., but I seem better able at helping others than me on this one!

Any thoughts ideas or links would be greatly appreciated.

  • Does anyone remember a Japanese cartoon with possibly a cat like creature with long ears that was maybe blue?

My son grew up in the late 80's and early 90's, and he had this tape of this cartoon that he loved, and I am really hard pressed zeroing in on it. I can not remember the title, but I would definitely know it if I heard it. I remember the long ears and the blue color the most. If anyone has the slightest possible idea, please tell me!

    Thank you!

  • Have you ever gotten this response?

So, I answered a tattoo question, it was a needlessly judgmental and prejudicial question about tattoos. I got an email from the questioner that was name calling and rude. But (he?) also said that I must not have read his question completely. So, giving him the benefit of the doubt, and knowing that sometimes I might not come across like I should (I have off days where I get a bit feisty with an answer, and I shouldn't), so I went back to the question because the poster doesn't allow email (even though he felt fine about emailing me, I couldn't reply to him..) anyway, I got a Yahoo page saying:

"You cannot view this question at this time."

So, my question is have you ever gotten this? And can you block someone from viewing your questions?

It's probably for the better anyway, but I'd like to know how this works.

Thank you for your time and answers. I haven't had the best of days, and I'm just curious.

  • Has this happened to you? Top Contributors....?

In the last 2 days, I have gone to a lot of trouble answering 3 different questions, with links etc., only to get that 'error 999' thing, making it impossible to submit. So, as an experiment, I copied and saved the answers on my 'drafts' at home, to see if it would work a day later.

I have tried to re-answer those questions several times, and got the same result. Even though other people have been able to answer in between!

    What's going on?

Thanx, sometimes the way this site works is mysterious to me! haha

  • There's a glitch in my 'best answers' ?

I got 'best answer' for 3 questions recently, and when I got on this morning, the same 3 'best answers' were in my inbox 57 times! How do I let Yahoo7Answers know?

  • I asked before, but only got 1 response, I have a small Celtic dragon?

about silver dollar size over my heart (from antique jewelry), it is basically a head similar to a seahorse, with a tail that curls around kind of in a yin yang like circle - no legs or wings. It represents my son, who's name is Celtic, and means 'little fiery one'.

My question is, I am considering having a soft flower (pinkish) put behind it to make it look like the little dragon is resting in it. The dragon is black and gray... Has anyone done something like this successfully? And with this limited discription, to you think it is a good idea, or should I leave it alone. ( I am perfectly happy with it, it was my 1st tat, but I was thinking of having me represented as 'Mom' with the flower...??)

So, I'm just wanting some input on this idea.

    Thanks for answering

  • Has anyone had a small black and gray tattoo, and then later put a flower or something behind it?

If so, how did it turn out? Did it successfully look like the 1st image was resting on the 2nd? Did you do it 3D? Or did you just add around the 1st with a design? I have a small little Celtic antique dragon (off of jewelry), and it is simple and almost forms a circle (open in the center). It it for my son, who's name is Celtic, and means 'little fiery one'.

I've been thinking of putting a soft pink flower behind it, to symbolize me and how beautiful I think it is that he is my son. It is over my heart also.

I just want to know if anyone has any advise on how best to accomplish this idea, or if I should just leave it as is.

Sorry, I don't have a picture to post, but it is about silver dollar size, no legs or wings, just a curl in a circle with a head like a seahorse.

Thanks for any thoughts and answers!

  • So, don't you top contributors, and other tattoo gurus, think that there's a lot of questions that ?

the 'best answer' hasn't been chosen? So, since there's over 5,000 of them, maybe we should all start voting on 10 a day, and knock the number down. Or if they are really old, does it matter? In voting, should we go back about 1month tops? 6 months?

Or does it matter? The person who asks didn't choose, but probably benefited from the answer and went on with life...

    What do you think?

    Thanks for your thoughts

  • Has anyone posted a picture of their tattoo, and found out that someone stole it?

Or do you actually know of an instance where this happened? If you have seen the 'stolen' tattoo, was it the same as the original, better, worse, ????

Are any of you leery of posting a picture because of this? I love seeing others original body art, and I think stealing an image is horrible, but a lot of questions pop up here about getting an image of someone else's ink so that the questioner can copy it. It's good that everyone shoots them down. Being inspired by an image is different, .. blatant copying is nasty. I'd love to see pictures of copied work compared to originals.

Thank you for your comments and any effort.

  • To those of you who regularly answer, don't you get annoyed?

by the SPAMMER guy who comes on here over and over and over again under different names? You know, the 'acne' guy? Lets report him every time as a SPAMMER and try to get rid of him. There's a couple others that pop up on a regular basis also, .. they are of a similar nature, one of them has a hyper link that is questionable, and possibly contains a virus.

So, what do you guys and gals think? Is there any other way to get rid of them?

  • Do you have, or do you know anyone with a tattoo with tiny detail?

I have one and am taking excellent care of it (it's completely healed, I use high SPF sunscreen all the time). But I would like to know of anyones personal experience with one over time. I would like to see before and after pictures of tattoos with tiny detail, and color, that are fresh, and then after some time has gone by. I want to see how they held up - depending on care.

I appreciate any search that you do and any images that you come up with. Thank you for your time and trouble.
