Yahoo deleting eMail accounts because of congestion?

I received an eMail from the "Yahoo Team" this morning stating that Yahoo will begin deleting mail accounts because of congestion. They asked me to click on a mail link to stay active. Before I do that, did anyone else get this eMail from them? I don't want to click on any virus from a scammer.

    OD NOT click on that link - it's a virus

    Yahoo is not deleting email accounts and there is no such thing as congestion. Yahoo makes ad revenue based on the number of accounts they have. They DO NOT delete email accounts - they want people to open MORE accounts

    The ONLY time your account is deleted is if you do not log in to your account for 6 months

    Mark it as Spam and it will be reported to Yahoo
