IN R&S Why do skeptics and nonbelievers ASK seemingly serious Questions....and then?
then CHOOSE only the 'best' answer that is the LEAST ACTUAL or serious answer that is just blatantly WRONG or nonsense? I suppose I actually take them 'seriously' when in reality they are just sparring, trolling or contending with people of FAITH. I just don't get such mentality myself..sorry! SO I know - go at it - Attack me for this one too! :(

They do so to mock the beliefs that are involved in the question. As for mentality, there is nothing at all to 'get'. It is just mean spirited and judgmental ignorance. By the way, I have seen some christians here do the exact same thing; Ask a question then answer it with judgmental spite at those who would dare answer it. Sometimes they answer their own question completely, which means that they will only pick the one who totally agrees with them to get the 10 points. This is the same attitude you speak of, right? This, like the example you have given is a form of deception.
None of this should even touch your own faith, though I can understand why it gets so frustrating for some.
Plenty of this goes around, and I find that those who pull these stunts are often spiritually bankrupt and emotionally stunted.
Good luck with your question.

I don't. I choose the answer which I feel best answers the question. Often I'm stuck having to choose between a number of good answers, so I have to choose based on something else, e.g. wit, extra details, or just first in the list.
Conversely I know *very* many of the posts I've replied to (from believers) choose BA on something I know to be factually incorrect, or from another believer if the question was aimed at atheists. I just regard that as the norm here and don't let it bother me.
Probably most often I see them choose BA for a reply that could only be the case if the answerer is psychic and "knows" what others think, feel or intend. That seems almost exclusive to theists.

If this is honestly the kind of thing that keeps you up nights, then you need to get an actual life....or that pacifier that Serge left at home..cause this really is one of the most infantile dummy spits I have seen in a good long while.

Well I don't really ask any questions I prefer to answer them to the best of my ability unless someone is just trying to be a troll.
