A lot of girls I know wear converse. Nearly all the girls in my school wear them, which is ironic because 4 years ago I wore them & everyone laughed at me & said they were ugly and disgusting, now they all love them & have tons of pairs! Trends come & go, so yes they are still popular (well, over here in the UK they are at the moment anyway).

I have yet to see a person wear keds. This town is full of people/women who wear converse, including me.

well actually it depends on ur style, converse is more to out-going, emo, scene,or sophisticated ppl but keds is more for casual, elegent-ish, goody-goody ppl :) but i i think keds are more commen among guys
