Im thinking about becoming a Wiccan ?

I think you need to learn what Wicca is first because you seem to be mistaken.

Wicca is a religion. It's about how you worship your Gods and live your life.

It is not a power. It is not the same thing as Witchcraft-- though magic is often part of Wicca, it's not the focus, and it's not the hocus-pocus of fiction that makes things go "poof".

The ONLY way being Wiccan helps you or anyone else is the same way ANY religion helps a person and those around him-- it helps you become a spiritual, moral, fulfilled, compassionate, self-actualized human being. YOu can do this as a Wiccan, a CHristian, a Jew, etc-- and for that matter you can do it as an atheist without religion as well.

If you don't know what the Wiccan religion espouses or what we believe, you really aren't equipped yet to decide if it's for you. But it doesn't sound like you have an understanding yet.

People are so rude, I am so sorry about the people who wont give you a straight answer and take your curiosity for trolling. People don't folow a certian religion because they think its " cool' they are either born into it or joined out of curiousity. Unlike the thousands of witch burners out there you dont see wicca as a bad thing and want to explore it. What the idiot that answered probably doesnt know is most wiccans are healers and join the religion in order to HELP people.

Covens are hard to find, and internet ones cant be trusted. the best thing to do is get as much knowedge as you can buy books, go to speciality shops and see if someone there practices it. Most wiccans practice by themselves anyways.

there are several branches and you have to decide what works for you. It is a beautiful and complex religion. goodluck

Clearly you're not thinking about becoming a Wiccan because you like what Wicca is all about. You're just joining Wicca because it's trendy among young teens these days. Believe me, joining a religion because it's trendy is a waste of time.
