What can a white, homeless person do about a horrible wisdom tooth abscess?

It is impacted, painful and apparently he can hardly eat because of it. We don't know how to help him. We see him from time to time and he does have a low paying job. No ins. of course.

I would get him in contact with a social service agency. Even people with low paying jobs could have Medicaid and if he is old enough, he might applyfor Medicare. It is difficult to help people who will not to the steps necessary to help themselves, but services are available, even temporary services, in most countries, such as the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, and European countrtries.

Rinsing with salt water cannot hurt. Giving him some toothpaste and a tooth brush can help also to relieve some pain. An absessesed tooth is not an extremely costly ailment. We are talking about a doctor's visit and a prescribed antibiotic most likely. However, if he has an impacted tooth or impacted wisdom tooth, then we are talking about more money. Still, an antibiotic is needed before any dental work could start anyway, and would relieve the infection. If you want to help your homeless friend, I would look into programs and welfare that he might qualify for because of his low income. He probably does not have the means or transportation to help himself in this way. Think about asking a local church or any organizations that are devoted to helping the homeless. Contact your City Hall or City government for information on social programs in your area. Hope you find a solution for your concern. If all else fails, pray.

It needs to be extracted. As of now, warm saline rinses may provide some relief. You can approach some of the dental schools. they may do the extraction at lesser cost. get the tooth extracted before it complicates the problem

A person who won't care others, a person who won't love others, a person who is not good at heart, a person who humiliate others, a person who take girls as his property and can possibly do any bad behavior with them is the most horrible person in my view. Thank you.
