Is pornography just harmless titillation ? Can it hamper or even destroy one's spiritual relationship with God?

It isn't harmless because it makes one think about something they can't have if they're not married and if they are married it's making them want more than what they already have.

We are suppose to think about clean things and have self control from what the bible tells us. Watching pornography really does not help and would make someone eventually want to experience it in real life.

Also often men and women are demeaned and made as just sex objects and doing nasty things that are not what Jehovah God purposed.

Husbands and wives should focus on each other not watch others and single people would want to remain clean and no be tempted by filling their minds with it. It could cause them to give in when temptation arises and make them think about it more. It could really hurt their relationship with God.

Is pornography just harmless fun? Not according to Ephesians 5:3-12. A careful study of that Bible passage leaves one with the impression that pornography certainly falls within the scope of what is condemned there.

Furthermore, Colossians 3:5 tells us to deaden out bodies to sexual appetite. Pornography feeds and grows sexual appetite. This can lead to addiction -- a compulsion to 'mind the flesh'. The Bible further states that 'the minding of the flesh means death'! (Romans 8:6)

Pornography is very harmful to the person using it and to whomever they are in a relationship with. If they had a relationship with God then it is gone. They chose to withdraw from him and follow the weakness of their flesh.
