What to do with old, old Disneyland tickets...?

My wife just came across a yellowed envelop in her dresser drawer stuffed with our old unused A through E Disneyland tickets from the early 1970s.

Imagine a book of ten ride tickets for $6.95 (a $10 value) it says.

I remember the last time we took the kids I paid $13.50 admission each.

Today the charge is $80.

Time flies (and gets expensive)

Should I:

Contact Disneyland for a refund?

Should I create a collage?

Any other ideas?

I know the admission is terrible now.And I believe you just pay at the gate, and

go on the rides without any tickets? I had many tickets left over myself when I

was young. And I taped them in a scrap book and put other things in relating to

that vacation trip. That was when I was in grade school. I went twice after that

as an adult, but I don't remember the cost for admission. But they still used the

ticket books. Absolutely no, they do not give refunds. They are in business to

make money. My daughter once applied to work there, and was told, everyone

earns minimum wage. And she couldn't afford to take any job there and still

    support herself.

I'm guessing that Disneyland has the same policies as Disney World. Unused tickets do not expire. My cousin passed hers down to me, when her kids were too old and we we taking our first trip. There was no problem using the old ones. I still have a couple that I am hoping I can use with grandkids or just for me someday.

There's this American TV programme where a pawn shop buys and sells things on TV live.

People bring stuff like your tickets all the time and if there's a Collectors Network out there, suddenly they are worth big bucks. I've posters go for $200 dollars. Railway tickets from the 1900's earn good money.

maybe google your question to see if they are collectible..?

I doubt yo would get a refund! they might give you credit to new tickets , $6,95 towards the $80.00 tickets of today.

If I were you I would make a shadow box or a collage. with Nostalgia and items that reflect the prices of yester year! Or you could do a comparison, on yesterday versus today!

If there's no expiration date on the tickets try using them.
