Are Money and Happiness really related? I'm not asking about stress relief here.?

They are related but happiness for the wrong reasons is not lasting. Money does and should bring a sense of the kind of security that comes with knowing that even if you are reduced to eating dog food, at least it will be IAMS, not Purina.

Many people are happy without much money but nearly all seem to need some.

Most people in a state of poverty are not happy, so as a human I have been looking for a way to eliminate poverty through economics. I won't bore you with my findings except to say that sometimes I doubt if the results of my research (and the universal cure for poverty that results) is actually so good or necessary as I originally supposed.

Once upon a time an unhappy king directed his servants to find the happiest man in the world. His wise men had previously proclaimed that if the king were to wear the shirt of the happiest man then the king too would become happy. Eventually this happiest man was found by the servants. "Send me his shirt" demanded the king. But the reply was that "the happiest man in the world does not have a shirt!"

Money in many cases causes happiness. Most people say "look at all these people who have money and are unhappy". This is true in some cases.

My belief is money that is inhereted upon birth (being born into a rich family) is destructive.

But HARD EARNED money is probably one of the most glorious and happy feelings in life.

I think they're related. Because we have needs and wants..and MOSTof those things are achieved by having money. I come from a poor family so I know. But this may not be true in some cases. It really depends on each of our situations but I strongly believe they have a connection. This just my opinion.

Money cannot buy happiness. Money is a tool and needs to be used carefully. The most richest people i.e my dad collegues kill themseleves... That defo shows, that money is a burden having too much is not good.. Happiness comes from your true purpose of life:

I think they are very related. And money does by happiness. You can't be happy if you can't pay your bills.
