What happens if I get a ticket in another state?
I got a ticket for an open container (not while driving) yesterday in a public park in Colorado. I gave my proper information, but the officer never took my drivers license info and the address I gave him is different from the one on my drivers license. What happens if I just don't pay? Anything?
So, despite not having my actual drivers license info or social security number, they can still issue a warrant for me? How will they know it's me? Same with putting it on my credit report.
And I have a Texas ID and address, but I'm moving to Chicago this month and won't even have a car. I probably won't be back to CO anytime soon.

A Warrant will be issued to pick you up when and if ever found.
It will be noted as a Criminal Charge on Your Credit report

the warrant will be issued however it will only be a warrant in colorado my advice is to just pay the fine and not deal with the hazzle unless you live very far away from colorado and you don't plan on going back there anytime soon I do beleive after 7 years the statue of limitations expires on the ticket

Colorado is part of the interstate compact. You'll have a warrant and your license will be suspended in your home state.
