    Sounds quite minimal, especially for something running a bloated OS like OSX. If it were a PC running XP, it would be alright, but not so much for a Mac. Before anyone asks, I've actually used Macs before, and they're a great deal slower than (properly-configured) PCs with the same specs.

    2Gb RAM is the memory that is used for working on everything running while the system is switched on - the more you have the better.

    160Gb HDD is Hard Disk Drive - the place where all of the programs and games are stored, even when the computer is switched off.

    if i had a pc with an hdd that and as much ram as that.. hey whats the latest windows im using 95 and 500mb hard drive and 64mb of ram memeory do you think i should get a new one.
