I would suggest something with the new AMD A- series processor in it. The A-series has better graphics capabilities than Intel chips for instance it can play most games at their medium graphic settings without a dedicated graphic card. The A-series chips also have better battery life and run 5-15 degrees cooler. They are also very inexpensive. They come in 3 varieties just like the Intel chips. There is an A-4 dual core, A-6 Quad Core, and A-8 Quad core. The A-4 is similar to i3,A-6 similar to i5 and A-8 is similar to i7. Like the Intel chips, they can automatically adjust their clock speed to match the task at hand. Many websites and stores list the speed as either the chips highest or lowest speed which cause confusion, so I will list the whole range that each chip operates at.

A-4=1.9GHz-2.5GHz, A-6=1.4GHz-2.3Ghz, and A-8=1.5GHz-2.6GHz. Here are a few models to take a look at:
