nVidia GTX 470 SLI vs 590?

I'm making a gaming rig and at the moment the video card is one of the only things I am not sure about.

My current setup:

Processor: Intel i7 2600k (overclocked) 4.1GHz

Video Card: ?

Memory: 8GB (2GB x4) @ 1866

PSU: 1000w Coolermaster

HardDrive: 120GB 6GB/s SSD

DataDrive: 1TB 7200 6GB/s

Cooling: 120mm Liquid Cooling + ACR Dual silent fans

Motherboard: Gigabyte x2

I have a bunch of extras (too many to list)

What I am going to play:

Guildwars2

Battlefield 3

Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

+any other AAA PC titles

Obviously, I want to run everything max.

Update:

I wll probably run 2 monitors AT MOST.

590 hands down!! The 590 is a dual core GPU and is the equivalent to 2 down-clocked 580's. The 590 will easily play all those titles very well. As long as you run the your games on only 1 of the screens then the performance in-game won't decrease with another screen.

The 590 is better, but if you're looking for 3 monitors you need the SLI. To match the 590 you need a 570 SLI at least.

If you just want a single 3D monitor the 590 is also best.

human beings do not understand that Sli/CF rigs are poor while in comparison with a single gpu. in case you have the gtx 570 then its maximum somewhat priced to easily purchase yet another, yet if figuring out 2 or a million, decide for a million.

Running with 590 SLI is a better choice as it has a better GPU than 470.

Also, running high graphic games with multiple monitors also is met by GTX 590.

    Hope this helps...
