Is this download and upload speed good?

well we are hoping to upgrade our internet cause our internet has horrible upload and downloaad speed (1.02 MBPS download and .36 KBPS upload) the internet provider said it would be around 5 mbps for download and 542 kbps for the upload, is that good?

    Try testing at different times. Is that straight from the modem? If that's as good as it gets have them send a guy out to fix it or cancel them. Be very clear that it either goes faster or your leaving. Your getting 1/5 of the speed so ask if you can pay for 1/5 of the bill? Don't let them push you around either. That's BS!

    Not even close. It's budget barrel broadband.
