Did you know that Allah means "God"?

Many non-Muslims have come to incorrectly believe that Allah is the ‘God of Muslims’ – A deity somehow different from the God of the other faiths. It should be emphasised that the term “Allah” has no implied meaning at all of an Arabian god, a Moon god or even a Muslim god. Muslims are not claiming any exclusiveness when they say "Allah". However Allah is simply the Arabic Name of the one Almighty God; the same name by which Arabic-speaking Jews and Christians, refer to God. The Allah comes from the term ‘al-ilaah’. Al is the definite article in Arabic, equivalent to ‘the’ in English, while ilaah means ‘a deity or god’. So Allah means The God. This is beautifully articulated in the first pillar of Islam which is to believe that God is One, in Arabic it would be, "La ilaha illallah" meaning "There is no god but God"

It baffles me why some non Muslims who also believe in God choose to say "your Allah" or insult Allah without realising they're insulting God/Allah and commiting a sin in their religion. Your thoughts?

Yes, many non-Muslims do not know that Allah is Arabic for God. Me being a new Muslim, I can understand some people may initially think that the deity of Islam is different than the deity of Christianity and Judiasm. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all worship the the same God whether they realize/believe it or not.

Judaism came first. Christianity came second. Islam came last.

Jews do not accept Jesus and Muhammad (pbut) as prophets or messengers.

Christians do not accept Muhammad (pbuh) as a prophet or a messenger.

Muslims accept all prophets and messengers.

Jews and Christians believe that Jesus (pbuh) claimed that he himself was God. Jews refuse to believe that he was God, while some Christians accept that he was God. The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) was in fact not God, nor was he the begotten son of God. Nowhere in any scripture did Jesus (pbuh) claim that he was God or the begotten son of God. Jesus (pbuh) did not have a father, just like Adam (pbuh) did not have a mother or a father. So then do Christians believe Adam (pbuh) to be a begotten son of God?

There is only One God, and He is Allah.

Thank you so much for pointing this out! I love it when people actually understand!

Calling Allah the 'god of the Muslims" is like calling Dios the "god of the Mexicans", and nobody says that! lol

No dear allah does not mean God, and God does not means God, only to you is that so, God presented Himself, and He never told that His name was either allah or even .....God, so insist all you want to have a God for all, He is absolutely for all, but live name calling behind you for a while, certainly man's made names, from a pedophile false self proclaimed prophet, you should.

It's only contradictory when other monotheists say that Allah is a different God than their God, because it contradicts their belief that there is only One God.

The moon symbolizes the god "Sin" of the Annunaki family from Nibiru. This where Islam originates from.

The Christians get offended when we say God to refer to our god...

Allah is a Pagan Moon God. He's not the same God as the one in the Old Testament and Torah.
