Harry potter question about voldemort's father?

I just finished reading the chapter in the sixth book when Harry first starts to learn about voldemorts past and how he came to be and his parents and whatnot. It ends the chapter with Harry learning that tom riddle sr. left merope after he came out of her love potion. My question is: does Harry know that Voldemort ends up killing his (by 'his' i dont mean harry's dad, i mean voldemort's - tom ridde, senior) dad at this point in the story? I can't remember if Voldemort explained this to him during his resurrection in the fourth booknon little hangleton graveyard. I just want to know. Thanks!
