1) The domain of the rational expression below is all y’s except what number? 4, -1, 1, or 0?

2) Simplify this rational expression

g^2 + 3g/ g^2 – g -12

    1) Actually, the domain for this function is all d's except 0.

    2) (g^2 + 3g)/(g^2 - g - 12) = g(g + 3)/[(g - 4)(g + 3)] = g/(g - 4)
