I'm telling you man, there's no way to break through that shell. Science could definitively prove that life did not form on earth, but rather was delivered here by a wayward comet fragment (a very probable explanation) and theists would flat-out refuse to accept it, and probably just claim god was responsible for hurling the comet down to earth.

@Wyvern, How would bacteria survive a comet fragment burning up through our atmosphere? You also need to go and look up the definition of "probable." Your claim at best is only possible.

Finding bacteria on Mars at this point in time is not earth shattering news scientifically. It is not something that will force me to "rethink this whole God thang."
