tumblr photoset problems?
Every now and then I try and post a photoset made of .gifs, however one or more of the .gifs will not animate and when you click on it, it won't animate properly.
I always make sure that my .gifs are compatible with tumblr's restrictions and have even gone so far as to making sure that all the .gifs in the photoset are the same size but I still end up with a dud one. Even trying the different photoset layouts doesn't work either.
here's a link: http://fuckyeaharchergifs.tumblr.com/post/87072124... I've got a couple more queued up with the same problem.

can you link an example?
Many times, the GIF works when someone reblogs it and it is on there page.
Many of them don't move on the dashboard.
Maybe that is it.

I've got the same problem with you, and have been corresponding with tumblr support for this matter.
Even if you complied with the 500 Kb & 500 pixel rule, the gif will still be "static" if it has too many layers.
Just reduce the layer amount and the gif will be animated (based on my experience max layer for the gif are 15).
