Why would anyone ever want to...?

I'd be the President so that I could exact revenge on people in general. Seriously, there's always somebody who squashes your life like a bug. What if you could do the same to them? They hate me now, but they'll hate me even more.

A Security detail the rest of his life. A better pension and medical plan then most of the rest of the country and fees for giving speeches that will make him very rich.

Not to mention they spend tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars campaigning for a job that pays $400,000 a year. Then we wonder why politicians can't balance budgets.

IDK it's one of the hardest most stressful jobs I can think of. People must do it for one of two reasons, either to be powerful and put themselves and their cronies in deep money, or a real sense of responsibility and courage and a desire to make things better for people.
