What GAME Console is Best? PS3 or Xbox360?

Well, both are great, but each is unique.

PS3: Blu-Ray disk payer, Built in wireless connection, Free online gaming, 2 USB ports, More price value (320GB HDD + Move controller + PS Eye + Blu-Ray + 2USB Ports + Built in wireless connection for $400) PS3 has more exculisves (Uncharted series, God of War series, Killzone series, Metal gear solid, Twisted Metal, Infamous series, Little big planet series, Resistance series, and much more.) It also had a remote for movies (if u want to watch movies on it.) PS3 has alot of services to offer in the store (Movies, Games, Wallpapers, Themes, Music, Pre-Orders, etc)

Xbox360: Great online service, good exclusives (Left4Dead series, Gears of war series, and Halo), Dedicated servers for games, Kinect move is very cool (you dont need controllers or anything, just use your hands to play), 250GB HDD, not built in wireless (you need to buy it for $100) Has less price value (Xbox system with controllers for $299) u need to get the wireless for $100 and pay to play online.

Fun fact: PS3 has 8 Processor cores (it only uses 7 and the 8th is extra) Xbox has 3 Processor Cores. PS3 has the edge on graphics but only by little.

I think what you SHOULD do first is figure out what sort of games he likes. Maybe try to ask him subtly without him finding out... I would grab a flyer with a bunch of games on it, then point out some and go, "Hey, is that really fun?" or, "My cousin Bob has a PS3 and 360, and wants to buy some games, but he doesn't know which ones to buy. Which ones do you like?" Then, see which consoles can play the most games he likes and go from there. The second one would let you have an excuse to circle the ones that he likes so that you won't forget later.

All you really need to play them is a memory card and a controller.... Buy a game or two too. I would go for the ones that have the highest amount of GB (which is basically the amount of memory that the console has), but they do tend to be more pricey, so it's really up to you.

Well it depends if your a fanboy and have bias opinions. The system are about the same, it depends what games you like and if you like online play. Xbox live is a much better network for online play, i.e. it never was hacked into unlike PS3 network. What system is best is up to you and what you like.

Well I'd say go fir the ps3 cause its free online gaming as well as built in bluray and has alot of accessories . About the memory , a120gb will do just fine for about 299$ happy bday to him :)

I have XBOX 360 but I would have rather gotten PS3 cause you don't have to pay for membership and it's also a blu-ray player.

If you want to pay for live then Xbox is better but if not go with the PS3.

I would recommend the ps3 because the online is free and is also a blue ray player.

Better online for xbox and better games for PS3 and better loading for xbox 360 and better Store for PS3 and better disk capabilities for ps3 and have your own wallpapers and upload them to your ps3 and Blu ray for PS3 and better Controllers for ps3 and better themes for ps3 and awesome dynamic themes (Moving themes) for ps3 and shall I go on?

similar consoles in most ways, but the ps3 edges it in my opinion, plus it has a bluray player and is free to play online... but dont think he'd be unhappy with whichever he got
