Scott will try to convince Jackson to not take the bite but does not listen. Therefore the Alpha bites Jackson and turns into a wolf. Jackson kills the alpha, takes the alpha powers, and gets away from the hunters. Derek follows Jackson. That leaves viewers questioning what will happen in season 2?

It all ends now with Allison crying and telling Scott to not be part of her life. Scott cries too and manages to convince Allison the entire truth why he acted weird, the example of his lacrosse game how he was able to perform extraordinary good, and the story of how he was bitten the whole time, and by the original Alpha (who bit Scott in episode one) that died caused Scott to never be able to turn into a ware wolf ever again. It ends with Allison and Scott getting back together and kissing.

Therefore the person that dies is the Alpha, and Lydia in the hospital who was bitten by the Alpha on episode 11 in front of Styles. Therefore he ends up being single. Hope that helped.
