Just a little bit of one of those watercooler-like cups, sweet tea?

In thirty-five gallons, and if was (in my mind this is about a tablespoon) you might want to do a 25% or so water-change, to be safe.

Sugar is not good at all to have in a fish tank.

I don't know what else was in your sweet tea, but some other possible ingredients could be harmful, too.

I'd do a large water change if I were you.
