Can i bring these things on an airplane?
*i had this in the "aircraft" section, but literally nobody is in there, so i decided i'd come to my fave. section--polls and surverys xx
**NOT in a carry on bag.
-opened shampoo/conditioner
-face wash
-bottle of water (actually, can i carry this on too? or do i have to buy it in the airport so i give them more $?)
-saline nasal spray (for my allergies! its been opened as well)
so! should i give it a try? or will airport security tackle me before i can say "no! no! it's just a BO-" (bottle of water, lol. i live in the US and im just flying into a different part of the US, if that helps!)
thanks so much!

I'm a frequent traveler, and I know that they allow liquids and gels on the plane as long as they are in certain quantities - you can only carry-on a small amount, and they must be in a separate bag like a "zip-lock" or something when screened (and they have to be screened separately).
Here's what I found on the government website listed in source (visit if you like):
*All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in 3.4 ounce (100ml) or smaller containers.
*Each traveler can use only one, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. (has to be clear, small, and ziptop)
*If you need larger amounts place them in your luggage and check them with your airline.
--------------- A list on the website is provided for certain liquids and gels which you are allowed to bring in greater quantity than 3.4 ounces
As for the water, it's fine - you can carry as much as you want as long as it doesn't exceed the weight limit.

Your best bet is to hit a store and buy travel sizes of shampoo, conditioner, face wash when you get there. You'll probably have to buy a new saline nasal spray (don't think that comes in travel size)
As far as "giving it a try", best not to. TSA has NO sense of humor and it's better to spend a couple dollars when you arrive then risk missing the plane altogether.

not sure what country your in
UK
Liquids may only be carried in containers no greater than 100ml.
These containers must be brought to the airport contained in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag.
Please note 'Liquids' include:
All drinks, including water, soup, syrups
Creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, lip gloss or lip balms, mascara etc.
Sprays and pressurized containers including shaving foam and spray deodorants
Pastes, including toothpastes
Gels, including hair and shower gel
Any other solutions and items of similar consistency
Essential medicines are permitted in larger quantities above the 100ml limit but will be subject to authentication. Exceptions to the 100ml rule may also be made for those carrying baby food and milk, but you may be asked to taste the liquid when you go through security.
USA
similar guidelines to uk maxium measurement is 3oz

You can bring shampoo and conditioner, face wash, and your nasal spray in your suit case. NOT a carry on. You can pack water in a suit case as well, but not in your carry on. They'll tell you to dump it, and you can get some in the stores where the waiting area is for your flight.

Yes you can bring all of those items onto your checked luggage, not carry on.
I'm not sure about the bottle of water though. You CAN bring it into the airport, security won't take it away. But onto the airplane? Well, some airlines let you & some don't. You should call and check.

Every botlle of liquid has to be 3 oz or less for a carry on any other bottle that is NOT CARRY ON can go in your suitcase

Any liquids that you bring on the plane with you on your carry-on luggage must be less than 100 mL (like, smaller 100mL or less containers). These must then be in ziploc bags. Otherwise they will just take it and throw it out.
