wanting to study drama? I got a "rejection" email from one drama school in my home country saying they think I should take another direction. I realise I'm no spring chicken but this has always been my dream, I have some experience in the field, plus I don't look 36, most people think I'm 10 years younger. Opinions please. thanks.

I am physically healthy other than a self inflicted mild case of borderline hypertension (due to stress), and a well controlled case of H. pylori that just won't go away, but my problem of late is my unhealthy preoccupation with death. I'm 36 and terrified to die young like my Mom, she was only 56. I have seen psychologist (did nothing for me), my husband is more than wonderful, also been to a psychiatrist (don't want to take pills), and most times I can convince myself that I'm happy but I have the most disturbing dreams of death, and people I've known that have long gone. How do I convince myself that I have one life and I should be happy and when it's time to go, then it's time to go. Surely I can't be the only one who fears death?

I saw on the news yesterday these groups of young guys that go around and just randomly punch people has they walk around. Not even isolated places, like in broad daylight in the street, one guy was punched on a bus, a girl was attacked from behind,etc. I mean WTF! Anybody else seen this? disturbing footage. I believe one man died he was punched so hard onto the sidewalk and had severe head injuries :(

this process makes one's breasts saggy. I'm 35, usually it's said that women over 40 should go for mammograms every couple of years, of course I do self exam and have no reason to worry. I'm just a bit vain and love my firm, perky breasts (one of my fave features), of course I'd rather be healthy but the machinery for this process seems to squash considerably. Can anyone tell me? thanks.

I mean the typhoon in Phillipines, I saw something tornado action somewhere in the USA today which looked equally devastating and back in my native Cape Town there were floods and rain like they've NEVER seen before! and it's summer down there, not suppose to happen. Last time in my other home in Italy (hubby is Italian), it was summer and we got hail storms but they were like golf ball size!! WTH! like an imbalance or something. scary innit?

Ok, yes, it's very stupid but the ICE entertainment was always a HUGE plus for me but on certain routes they've taken this away on Emirates flights. It's not on demand anymore, not on the flights I was on in June (one from CPT-DXB, and DXB-VCE), they only had a certain amount of channels and it works like a TV, every movie by the hour, not on demand. Has any other routes changed this? Everyone on Airlinequality.com still raves about their entertainment? Very confusing?

I found a good deal with Air France but I see there's yet another possible strike this Tuesday. I understand their reasons but I really don't need my once a year vacation ruined because of delays. What happens in these cases? do they just cancel flights or must they find alternative flights? I have one domestic flight and one international.

I can book a round trip ticket with really long layovers both ways (8 and a half hours YUK!!!) for a cheaper price or pay 350 Euros extra but have the same flight with much shorter layovers (3 and 4 hours respectively), It's a good saving but I'm already going nuts thinking of all that time I'll spend in the darn airport and it's not like I can go out because both flights are in the middle of the night(Emirates) plus I would have to get visas so that's not an option. What would you do?
