Ladies who've had mammograms, please don't judge but I'd like to know if.........?
this process makes one's breasts saggy. I'm 35, usually it's said that women over 40 should go for mammograms every couple of years, of course I do self exam and have no reason to worry. I'm just a bit vain and love my firm, perky breasts (one of my fave features), of course I'd rather be healthy but the machinery for this process seems to squash considerably. Can anyone tell me? thanks.

Mammograms have not been really proven to do what they are supposed to do. In fact, they can actually harm you from all the stuff that goes through your body. Why do you think people dont get xrays done unless they really need to see the bones? On top of that, all that pushing and squashing can damage something and doctors admit that damaged cells are more likely to cause cancer. In other countries they usually start at age 50 once every 5 years since self exams should be enough.

No it doesn't at all
Had many mammograms, has or does nothing to the size or perkiness of the breasts. Hurts a bit and uncomfortable, but not horrible
