When actors/actresses are on screen pretending to snort cocaine, what are they really snorting?

In the movie Cruel Intentions, Sarah Michelle Gellar clearly snorted something in one scene. I know that she is too much of a professional to do drugs on set (and unlikely to do drugs at all). Anyone really know?

    For visual shots ...Mainly bagged/laying around ... they use:

    Talcum Powder

    Baby Power

    Flour

    For snorting, they use:

    Powdered Sugar

    Vitamin B-12 Powder

    Powdered Milk

    I don't know for sure. I would guess some kind of sugar substance similar to what they use to make edible glass bottles.
