ideas for the different days homecoming spirit week!!!?? (:?
my mom works at my school so she has a say in what the school chooses for spirit week! (: if you don't know what spirit week is, it is during homecoming week at school where you dress up as different things throughout the week. For example, last year we had nerd day so on that particular day everyone dressed up as a nerd. So far we have had western day, nerd day, blast to the past day, spirit day and character day. Im looking for fun original ideas! (: thank you so much and God bless!!

The freshman dressed as babies
Sophmore- toddlers

Student Council Advisor: Maumelle (Arkansas) High School: After years as a cheer coach at another school where we had a theme every week during football season and every Friday was dress-up day, I now have an overall theme for homecoming week with days that correspond to the theme. Last year was Cruisin' To a Victory : Monday was Tacky Traveler (fanny pack recommended), Tuesday: Cruisin' to the tropics (Coconut Bra and grass skirt of school appropriate clothing), Weds. Cruisin' Back in Time (Had lots of babies and togos...lol*), Thursday - Dinner with the Captain - Dress up day and Friday was Black and red (our colors) spirit day and the Seniors secretly hoisted a jolly roger after school Thursday with a sign SENIORS TAKE OVER THE SHIP and they all dressed in red and black as pirates.
This year I am thinking "Once Upon a Time" and base each day on a book.... "Where the Wild Things Are"- We are WILD about our HORNETS!, "Harry Potter" (Wizards, etc), "Cinderella" (Prince and Princess) and I haven't thought of any others yet.

Ooh I love spirit week! Some of our days that we have had are:
School Spirit Day
Camoflouge Day
Ninja Day (LOL it was fun)
Nerd Day
International Day
80's Flashback Day
Tacky Day (We had pretty awesome outfits then too! It was all about the crazy hairstyles, mismatched clothes, shoes on the wrong feet, etc!)
Celebrity Day - Dress up as your favorite celeb! (This was something that my friend had but it sounds fun! She was dressed as Taylor Swift)
Twin Triplet Day- Dress up the same as you best friends! There's twins, triplets, quintuplets, and more!
Colors of the Rainbow Day - each grade/class is assigned to a color of the rainbow. For example, blue. They must create the wakiest, wildest blue outfits as possible!

Celebrity day. Last year people dressed up as Lady Gaga, Beyonce, etc.
Era day. At my school, some people dressed up as if they lived in the Victorian ages or in the 80s with the afros and disco suits and stacked shoes, and as if they were hippies and what not. It was quite fun(:
Animal Kingdom. People dress up as animals(: The school turns into a zoo:P Lol.
