power problems with a dual xdm7510?

the power for my dual xdm7510 dashboard is hooked up to the ignition but for some reason it takes a extended period of time to turn on. i can still open it up as if i was going to put a cd in but thats about it.

    Your problem is in the faceplate itself. I had a Dual stereo for awhile, and most days you couldn't even read it. Other times, it would work fine. It's faulty wiring inside of the faceplate itself, so until you replace the stereo, you're stuck with it. It sucks, because they sound great, and they are about thirty dollars less than the next-cheapest stereos out there, but it is what is.
