Not if it isn't a rewriteable disk!

You can transfer the music to another hard drive. Or even another directory. It's best I think to transfer the music to pen drive. A standard DVD holds 4.7 gigs. So a 5 gig pen drive is cheap.

    1) Right click on the files in the DVD (open the DVD in My Computer) highlight all (control & A) Right click on "all the files" and left click "copy". Find the pen drive in My Computer and right click then left click "Paste"!

It will take a minute or 10 but remember you are transferring Gigabits!

Hey, you can't use this dvd-r to burn, cus it's a write-once dvd disc, only can be used once, so you have to use another blank dvd disc to burn. Hope these information can help you.

You can no longer use this disc for recording anything. DVD-R is one time only. Meaning whats on it is whats on it. DVD+R can be rerecorded on using any free space that may be available but can't be erased.

You can only erase a rewritable disc. It's labeled as DVD-RW. You can't erase a DVD-R disc as it can only be used once.

    Sadly no.

DVD-R aren't re-writable. That means you can't use it again after you burn something onto it.

    DVD+RW or DVD+R however are re-writable.
