Can you help me identify this guitar?
I have a Charvette by Charvel guitar. It's red with a black headstock that says Charvette by Charvel TM. It has active pickups I think. One humbucker at the bridge and two regular single coils at the middle and neck. (I think this is correct, but I'm a strat guy and don't know much about active pickups). It has silver volume and tone control. The neck plate says Charvette by Charvel, then Serial 006725, then Po Box 2344 Fort Worth TX 76133 USA.
It also has a Floyd Rose and Charvel pickups. It's neck looks to be rosewood and it's 22 frets.
Any help would be awesome. I've tried to give all the info I can on it. Thanks in advance.

Hello there,
As you said, what you have is a Charvel Charvette. One of the lesser expensive Charvel guitars. As I recall those were made after Jackson took over Charvel. I thought the Charvette was made in Korea. I recall something about some of the Charvel guitars having Texas on the neck plate but actually were made in Asia. I did not recall a Charvette with active pickups. But Charvel made so many variations of their guitars it is hard to identify them. And Charvel did make some guitars with active pickups. All the Charvel guitars I recall seeing were Strat clones or Super Strats. The CX-290 was a Strat clone, most of the others were Super Strats. I really like the Charvel necks.
Later,
Hello again,

I've seen this pic before... someone was trying to say it was his setup, and he was trying to figure out what his "rack equipment" was capable of... because, after all, he was just the performer, and he had a team of people who did that for him. =) The previous answerer is essentially correct... the pedals on the lower bottom right are almost certainly Moog expression pedals, though, model number EP-2 I believe. From the left to the right are two Moog Moogerfooger MF-101 Low Pass Filters, two Multiple Resonance Filter Array 105's (which are supremely cool), and two more MF-101 Low Pass Filters. I do also believe that is a Moog Music MF-107 Moogerfooger FreqBox on the bottom left row next to a Moog expression pedal and whatever that grey effect is. This is a truly sweet setup. Depending on the signal path, you could get some amazingly weird and beautiful sounds out of what's pictured here. Saul
