What is the difference in size between a 1998 Mercury Sable and a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis?
My Sable is no longer in working condition and am looking at buying the Grand Marquis for about $1900. I NEED opinions as I have only until tomorrow to decide or it goes to auction! Wondering about size and dependability and any other info you have. Has around 107,000 miles.
Thank you!!! :)

Sable is mid size sedan and smaller, front wheel drive ,Grand Marquis is full side sedan, larger and rear wheel drive.Proper care and maintenance will make the Grand Marquis last forever, very good car, cousin of the Crown Victoria which is favorite car for police, taxi and car services.Actually it has less work needed to be done than a Honda or Toyota as other people think.

Get the GRand Marquis- probably the best sedan Ford ever built.

difference? Everything, Marquis better ride, rear wheel drive, reliable, if maintained
Sable, front wheel drive, more bad things than Marquis. 99 Marquis is over all better, most people who have them take care of them

A 12 yr old American V8 with 107k miles on it is just about done, certainly not worth $1900. It will start requiring all kinds of minor/major maintenance. Get a Toyota or Honda, they need much less work.

to initiate with this automobile doesnt have struts this is the previous style long and short suspension. i be responsive to because of the fact I own a 2000 Crown Vic that's an identical chasis because of the fact the MGM. and it doesnt have struts. except this is been in an accident and has some structural themes, it in basic terms sounds in basic terms like sqeeky bushings or ball joints get a chassi lube and factor out the squeek to the mechanic make a factor of telling him this is using you nuts so he would be responsive to if he doesnt restoration it you would be lower back complaining.
