Can you suggest a moderately priced hotel near Bourbon Street in New Orleans?

I will be in New Orleans with my wife the nights of August 30th and 31st. We would like to stay in the French Quarter near Bourbon Street. Any suggestions on hotels there in the moderate price range?

the holiday hotel Chateau LeMoyne is a sturdy selection. it is an historic hotel placed on Rue Dauphine in the French Quarter, in basic terms one block from Bourbon highway. I only checked and that they've one government Jacuzzi Suite and additionally furnish a ultimate-for-Breakfast kit. no longer in basic terms are you steps from Bourbon highway, you additionally are close to to all the different commonplace New Orleans factors of interest like: Jackson sq., French industry, Riverboats, Superdome, D-Day Museum and extra. desire this helps. Have a great time in New Orleans!

My first trip to NOLA four years ago I stayed at the Hotel St. Pierre. Don't let the website fool you! It is a dump (great lobby, dirty filthy carpet and old rooms)and several creepy blocks from Bourbon street. I didn't get hurt but it's not great.

I've been there several times and my favorite is the Hotel St. Marie. One block from Bourbon St. and about $60 a night. Very clean and nice.
