Anxiety & depression HELP PLEASE?

I used to see a therapist 3 years and she gave me lexapro. this made me worse ( i clawed my desk at work and grinded my teeth)

I am 30 year old male.

i have had 2 seizures about 2 years ago.

now everything pisses me off.

i find it easier to argue with everyone's ideas

and i look for flaws in them

i get mad without knowing what got me mad (and not knowing makes it worse!)

i go to the gym 4 times a week (average)

is there anything i can do??

i get a little calm when i drink. and when i am sober... i get depressed that alcohol is my escape

over the counter maybe?

Update:

also... i get frustrated with the stupid things i see on t.v. such as dumb shows,

radio dj's annoy me.

my friend's need for constant attention is killing me.

how can i just not care?

You could try some natural remedies... changing your diet a bit.

Calms are a herbal tablet, non addictive 100% natural and very mild... over the counter at the pharmacy they are a kind of sedative... they just take the edge off.

You may well have issues with some foods and it might be an idea to go through a detox and then reintroduce foods one at a time, keeping a diary. Obviously sugars dairy and wheat and those dreaded additives they stuff into processed food... but by starting out on good wholesome fruits and veg doesn't have to be a nasty experience.

    I used to say I don't have a problem...it is OP (other people) I can't stand.

Try meditation and yoga if you can. It hrlps you to calm your body, calm your mind and your thoughts which get you irritated. Good luck :)
