we are looking to leave the airport and do some sightseeing, perhaps have some drinks but we are unsure what will be open.
is there bars in the red light district?
open places to eat? sight seeing?
are there areas to avoid?

I want to buy the new metal gear phantom pain game, but do I have to know certain back stories to enjoy this?
I’ve played metal gear solid and sons of liberty but that was way back then. I never played Snake eater or anything after that.
I need a game that will last me sometime, (like GTA 5 or Arkham knight)
i like games that give me the freedom and let me take my time with...
also i never played any of the fall out games.... should i try fall out 4?

2 AnswersSoftware6 years agonew orleans attire, weather, etc?
Hello, I'm headed for new orleans tomorrow, and weather channels predict the week in the 50°s. But how cold can this be? (I come from los Angeles) my current luggage consist of 'hoodies' and regular sweaters. I have and 'bigger' jackets that I wore for NY during the winter, but im unsure if humidity will be high and what that means for attire.
Any one in new orleans suggest anything?

1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance8 years agosexual harassment in the work place?
A coworker of mine claims she was ‘pinched’ on her butt by our boss (a doctor)
This happened some time ago. She has been hiding it.
She came to me discreetly and told me this.
I suggested she go to management about this; which is a friend of ours.
She refused and told me she is going to put in her 2 weeks. (she can’t handle any confrontation)
And she has been miserable since,
The similar thing happened to a previous employer here and she was too scared so she resigned. She wanted to avoid a hostile work environment.
I got fed up and ‘text’ our manager off hours saying that I need to talk to her about certain things going on. She responded with “I can’t talk, can you just text?”
So I did. Describing how afraid this employee is to do anything
Minutes later she posted on Facebook something along the lines “it’s disgusting how people cannot stand up for themselves, they are too spineless”..(she is the kind to rarely update a status
Today the manager complains to the employee “I have to file a complaint, and now MY job is on the line”
This employee cried to me. And just turned in her 2 weeks.
This really pissed me off because I know this doctor is capable of doing this.
And I never seen the manager act like this.
Did I make a mistake by taking this to management?
Should I let this employee resign? (she feels uncomfortable here)
What advice can I give this employee?
She is scared she won’t find another job.
should i (as a friend/co-worker) stay out of it?
5 AnswersLaw & Ethics9 years agosleep apnea?? seizures? i am suffering from both,?
So I am a 30 year old man
Approx. 5’10
183 lbs.
And I have been having problems sleeping.
A lot of people that have slept around me have told me that during my sleep, I tend to take really deep breaths and hold them in for a long period of time.
Little by little I exhale very minimal amounts at a time.
Friends have told me that it sounds like;
A puppy crying
Helium slowly being let out of a balloon
High pitch squeaking.
Many fear that I have stopped breathing and that I am struggling to breathe
People always wake me up during this process.
**now here is a kicker;
While sleeping; I can hear this process occurring. From my ‘squeaking’ to the people about to wake me,
I can hear full on conversations, and sometimes I go back to sleep.
This goes on throughout the night,
And has been for a couple of years now.
I’ve been told that it is SLEEP APNEA
but I looked into it, and this only happens to overweight people?
And I am not snoring.
Can anyone tell me what it might be?
Note: I have epilepsy as well. but it is triggered by lack of sleep, and this results in muscle jerks & minor twitching. I try to lay down for a bit (or watch t.v.) otherwise twitching will continue and will result in full seizure.
Help please?
3 AnswersRespiratory Diseases9 years agoVerbal Harrasment from supervisor?
I share an office supervisor, he is on salary, and is constantly taking a day off/leaving early/ etc.
I don’t mind this at all, as it puts the staff under my supervision. (and they prefer it that way)
But when he is here, all I hear from him is how EVERYONE in this company is a 'bonehead'
He refers to the HR manager as 'mama' (because she is needy?)
Whenever he reads an email, all I hear is
"bob, you are an idiot"
"oh steve shut the **** up"
Etc
Then he goes on & tells me why they are dump as if I am suppose to agree with him?
he is hard to talk to because he always interrupts!!!
A girl here got some great deals on purchasing product here for office, and I heard him say "wow, who is she blowing?"
Delivery guys are a bit fed up with him, so are employees from other departments
Is there anything I can do about this?
Do I go to CEO? HR?
