What is the best laptop for home use UK?
I've currently got a dell inspiron and I've had no end of problems with it! I really don't want another dell and can't afford an apple one. What is the most reliable brand for home use laptops? I don't really know anything about the specifics of a laptop apart from wanting windows 7 to be honest, links would be appreciated.

I suggest that you save up for bit and buy a Mac laptop because in the end you will be much happier.

What is your budget (maximum amount of money to spend)?
Minimum battery life?
Minimum screen size?
Large screen ===> low battery life, higher weight
You may need to consider a higher budget for a more powerful configuration.

ive always found hp was a great name... ive also had sony and had nothing but problems
