Can I take my starter earrings out after 5 weeks?

i really want to replace my starter earrings, and i'm wondering if i don't have to wait another weeks until i can finally take them out. they haven't been infected or anything.

I have taken mine out after 4.5 weeks since I was very impatient as well.
The key here is to really take care of the pierced spots, to put alcohol or special solution as much as possible.

I waited 6 weeks to take mine out and they still weren;t healed... they got quite painful after i took the starter ones out.. 
It took about 8 weeks for mine to be ready.. so i'd wait a bit longer if I were you:)

I depends on how healed they are. If you can twist the earring ang tug on it without it hurting, you should be ok to take them out, as long as you wear only studs for about 6 months.

8 weeks is the recommended time, if you want to risk it closing or getting serious infection you can change it now.

** also, only studs for at least 1~2 years.

Best to wait 6-8 weeks, and note cleaning then to much can slow down the healing process. We have good and bad bacteria in our bodies and cleaning to often can remember the good bacteria that fights the bad.

OMG 5 WEEKS???? LOL I REMOVED MY STARTER EARINGS ONLY AFTER 2 WEEKS AND THEY WERE FINE BUT A LITTLE SMELLY SO TAKE A COTTON SWAB WITH ALCAHOLE AND WIPE THE EAR THEN YOUR CAN WEAR ANY TYPE OF EARINGS YA WANT! GOOD LUCK
