How do you health the planet if you can't lower the price of gasoline?

Even if you meant heal, I still don't get it. Wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that lowering the price of gasoline would put more cars on the road, thereby adding more to pollution?

Getting ride of waste products will take a very very long time ever since the majority of the waste is plastic. Also it takes millions of years for the earth to produce oil in its oceans.

To be completely honest, higher gas prices are probably better for the planet. People will drive less and it will cause more investment in alternative energy.

The human race will continue burning oil until we run out. Then we will burn all the coal until that runs out. We will be getting most of our energy from burning fossil fuels for many decades to come. As a result, global warming will continue to accelerate. Expect to see massive famines within the next 20 years as global warming ruins harvests around the world.
