Does God's omnipotence over power our free will?

it is said that God knows everything who will go to hell who will go to heaven. If God knows that you will go to Hell before he created you, does that mean that God created you to go to hell? Also how is it not God fault that sin entered the world when he started the whole process? If he had not created Lucifer , knowing that he would fall and tempt Eve, there would be no sin and no hell. So why can't we blame God for this.

Update:

Wow, i am surprised that this got so many answers so fast. First let me say please do not be offended by this question or make assumptions about me. This is just a question. also I wanted to add by knowing everyone final destination does that predestine where we will spend eternity?

I once saw a TV documentary that traced behaviour patterns from insects to humans, showing the increasing complexity of how behaviours are over-ridden. It gave the impression that we don't decide what to do so much as decide what not to do. And it showed what happens when someone's ability to do this is faulty, such as constantly checking that doors are locked and being unable to stop themselves (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder).

More recently, I saw a programme in which brain responses and responses to stimuli were measured and compared. It turned out that reactions to stimuli happened before the brain constructed the reason for the decision.

So it's questionable that we actually do have free will; but as long as we gain enough experience to be effective it doesn’t matter to us that free will may be an illusion for practical purposes.

I know someone who is a fervent believer, and she insists that god created people who were intended to go to hell, so that god could recognize his own magnificent glory. She thinks that without sin, there can be no good, so god needs sin to justify himself.

Well if he never set anything in motion as you say

then you wouldn't even be alive to type up this question anyway

It's like when i create a character for one of my stories and i know how, when and why that characters going to die . but im not just going to not write my story because that char. is going to die.

i still created that character out of love knowing full well everything that was going to happen to him/her.

No God gave each and every one of us free will.It is like giving us enough rope to hang ourselves, in some cases.

    God's omnipotence.

don't blame God for the choice of mankind; God has provided from day one for each and everything that we need to live; you blame God for giving free will to mankind; any suffering is by our actions, our thoughts, and deeds.you change your life.

if that was so ,then nobody would believe in God and straight away go to heaven , God wanted us to fulfiil His rightfulness and His will by becoming His children.

God is very selective in his use of his power of foreknowledge for just that reason.

God doesn't exist, and has no power over will.

You are assuming that he knows every detail of every future event.
