I've had several gay friends over the years and I've never felt uncomfortable or disturbed by them. They are no different then regular folks because people want to label them and say that their child molesters or serial rapists, when what you would call normal folks are 10x worse then the gay community. Sure the bible says some nasty things about being gay but it's not a choice for them. Let them marry who they want to! God is judgment!! Not humanity! God teaches us to love thy fellow man whether he's a really soft man or a man who just thinks he's hard. Love everybody and judge not less ye be judged.

I know 5 openly gay people fairly well, one of whom i would consider a friend. Despite this i am strongly against gay marriage and gay relationships. The term gay rights is to general, of course they have rights like anyone else, i simply do not agree with their sexual preferences. On both a religious and moral level being gay is unnatural. In nature animals are not gay. Many people will fire back with 'animals cant read or write either' to which the response is that those things are taught through superior intelligence, not how we are born. It is impossible to maintain both that stance and the 'being gay is how you were born, not a choice' side of the argument. In reality, very few people are born with a pre existing urge and desire to be sexually or emotionally engaged with a person of the same gender. Much more common young people tend to turn to 'being gay' as a way to cope with their other insecurities and social pressures. For example if a child is bullied because of their personality it is easy to say 'its not me, its because im gay. and thats how i was born', even it that is not true. Also, the liberal media and general acceptance of gays affects thee youth. Take smoking for example. People are not born with a desire to smoke, they see it around them and copy what they see. In recent years the negative media on smoking has significantly reduced the number of people who smoke, in the same way if we told kids being gay was abnormal suddenly no one would be gay, save those few who really were.

I know a few. My neighbors are gay, and many of their friends are as well (not surprisingly). I get along well with all of them.

It's no secret that fundies LOVE god. They love him enough to suck his c0ck on judgement day if it was required to get into heaven. For men, this is just hypocritical and they should be ashamed.
